perseverance [?p??s??v??r?ns]

1. continued steady belief or efforts, withstanding discouragement or difficulty; persistence
2. (Christian Religious Writings / Theology) Christianity persistence in remaining in a state of grace until death
perseverant adj

I don’t know how many times I’ve seen or sometimes given away the last chips.   Today works as an example.
By the second break I continued to wallow near the bottom of the stacks.  When I made some kind of hand it would be a chop.  That isn’t the best way to chip up.  Instead of top five, I was consistent in the bottom five.  When the bets bumped up to 100-200.  I had five big bets.  And, then things caught fire.  The frustration was behind me.  Leave yourself the opportunity to win — regardless of all that has gone before.

He conquers who endures.  ~Persius
