Georg and Yortuk Festrunk — Squared

Do you remember Georg and Yortuk Festrunk?  Well, it may not be names that spring liltingly to lip.  You might remember them better as Two Wild and Crazy Guys on SNL.  Yeah,  aka Dan Aykroid and Steve Martin.  Not fellows you’d project to a final table, poker-wise.  What they do seem to have is a style that was obvious in the polyester era on downtown Vegas streets.

Potatoes and Locker Rooms

I’ve enjoyed the integrity of a fellow I know/knew as a fellow “Small Potatoes” poker player.  With the changes since Black Friday, we were exposed to his sports picks.  I am not a sports better.  I have heard story about folks like Doyle getting it handed to them at the books.  I have gotten calls from guys wanting to sell me their picks — dumb! Pin Money

That's what Falstaff and I competed for over on PokerWorks. We got very good at glamming onto some bit of news and plagiarizing innovatively rewriting. Actually, I think both of us did a pretty good job of adding a different slant or perspective. Linda soon decided that my wide venturing from the limits imposed by the AP style book* were more suited to blogging than being a real author – like Falstaff.  (Read my review of the book there for deja vu.)
